Hugo is an industry leader with over twenty years of relevant experience in the commercial security industry. He currently serves as CEO at WaveLynx Technologies, a rapidly growing technology company that delivers best-in-breed electronics solutions to the access control software market. Hugo’s leadership focus includes cultivating a unique corporate vision, merging technology with global market demands and converting opportunities into long term customer adoption.
Prior to WaveLynx, Hugo held a lead designer position at XceedID, an access control reader and credential manufacturer he co-founded in 2003. XceedID sold in 2008 to Ingersoll Rand (now known as Allegion). During his 4-year tenure at Allegion, Hugo provided a broad role in the development of an array of electronics products, which included readers, electronic locks, and access control software and panels.
Between 1999 and 2003, Hugo served as a firmware engineer at HID, developing the firmware for HID’s first smart reader. Hugo’s vast firmware development experience spans over 12 years and, to this date, still serves him in bridging technology with business development.
Hugo holds a B.S. in Physics from the University Louis Pasteur Strasbourg, France and graduated in 1999 with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He specialized in Digital Signal Processing and Cryptography.
Today, Hugo is most motivated by the loyalty of his team and of his customers, with many of whom he shares great friendships.
